6-Week Rotation
One batch a week, a different protein each week, every week in budget. Tap a week to open its recipe.
How to run it
- Each week, buy that week's shopping list and cook the whole batch on sheet pans.
- Need a cheaper week? Swap in a sub-$16 meal (Drumsticks, Tuna Bowl, Honey-Garlic Thighs, Eggs) and bank the savings.
- Want variety in a week? Split into two 5-portion mini-batches from that week's swaps — cost stays about the same.

Toss-By Tracker
Log a batch when you cook it (open any recipe, hit "Cooked it") and this counts down to its safe toss-by date.
Shelf life (cooked, refrigerated): chicken · turkey · beef · pork = 4 days · fish · shrimp · tuna · eggs = 3 days. Froze it? That extends to ~2–3 months. Based on USDA food-safety guidance.

Where to Buy
Aldi — produce, dairy, eggs, canned, rice, frozen veg · Walmart — frozen proteins + pantry · Sam's / Costco — bulk proteins per lb · Food Lion — MVP protein sales · Soda City Mkt (Main St, Sat) — fresh local
Playbook tips
- Most batches land $13–29. Salmon, sirloin & shrimp run $30–34 — buy frozen/on sale or drop ~½ lb.
- Highest protein: Chicken Breast (43g), Fajitas (42g), Tenders (37g). Boost lighter meals with yogurt, cheese, or an egg.
- Quinoa adds ~4–6g protein per side vs rice — an easy swap on any bowl.
- 10 portions ≈ 5 days at 2 meals/day. Fish, shrimp, eggs & tuna are best within 3 days — freeze the rest.
- Cook on foil-lined sheet pans; batch rice/quinoa in one pot instead of pouches to save money.
